A Bombardier Canadair CRJ 700 made an emergency landing shortly after takeoff from New York’s LaGuardia Airport(KLGA) on Wednesday morning due to what is being reported as an “engine shutdown”.
Shortly after takeoff, the Delta Connection Flight 6262 operated by GoJet bound for Portland International Jetport(KPWM) reported the issue. The plane dumped fuel and returned to the airport without incident.
The incident is currently under investigation.
