A new route is coming to Bangor in 2020. Friday, United Airlines announced the addition of a twice daily route between Washington D.C.’s Dulles International Airport. Service will be available for purchase starting tomorrow, December 14th with flights beginning June 4th, 2020.

Currently American Airlines is the only carrier with service to the Washington D.C. area, however it serves Reagan National Airport.

Flights will be on United Express Embraer ERJ-145s regional jets.

United currently offers year round service to Newark’s Liberty International Airport and seasonal routes to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
