Captain Gerald Adler along with family and friends attended a memorial on Saturday recognizing the crash of a B-52 Stratofortress in the Greenville area. Saturday, Captain Adler was reunited for the first time with medic Eugene Slabinski who dropped out of a helicopter to rescue him.

According to the Boston Globe an Angel Flight that departed from Hanscom Field in Bedford has crashed in New York. Reports are that at least 2 of the 5 passengers on the Piper PA-34. The crash occurred in Garoga, NY, some 60 miles from it’s destination of Rome, NY.
Today marks the end of the line for the iconic Worldport Terminal at JFK in New York. Originally built for Pan American World Airways in 1960, the building featured an elliptical roof that protruded 114 feet from the terminal to give passengers shelter from the elements in the boarding and deplaning processes.
Flights inbound to the 4 NYC airports(Teeterboro, LaGuardia, JFK, Newark) are experiencing delays due to severe thunderstorm activity in the area. Inbound flights are being held at their origin for 3+ hours, departing flights are being held for an average of 2 – 2.5 hours. Check with your airline for more information.
